We have a multi-year / ongoing contract position open for a Business Analyst position in the Sacramento area.
Job Description Summary:
The Business Analyst role is to be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams. Business Analyst will provide the process, questions, and techniques to efficiently extract the information needed from the business users for successful business solution and application development projects. The Business Analyst is also an integral part of the strategic planning, business process innovation and continuous improvement efforts and facilitating the analysis of what needs to be done to bring the business or technology to a desired future state.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
7 years eliciting business and technical requirements in a matrixed structured environment. Experience in producing business documentation such as gap analysis, issue tracking, process flows and training material. Experience in establishing, evaluating, designing and the continuous improvement of business processes.
Preferred Skills
Preferred: 3-5 years experience working as a Business Analyst in the Insurance Industry. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
